A PURPLE CHRISTMAS TREE

A better picture can be found here – click on their image to enlarge to see it at its best.
Up until this year we have always had *proper* trees -this year I have no children at home and can recreate Christmas to suit myself/ourselves. The bird is delighted as you can imagine – especially if you read this post last year about his aversion to Christmas trees.
Apart from the fact that it is MY colour – it also cost the same as a live tree which then has to be planted (and later die) or lie in the garden with the rest of the ones that could not be planted that have suffered the same fate over the years – ie it stops wasting a tree for this year and hopefully many more years to come. So no more guilty conscience about that.
I will not be putting a halo/wreath on top – I have an angel for that!
